Earliest Musical Memories

Although I am an upcoming artist I make music for quite a long time, since I was raised in a musical and artistic family. My father was a singer, playing guitar and was also a painter. My grandfather was an actor. At five years old I was singing with my daddy playing guitar and on a daily basis. Later I sang on teenage parties and made my own music. When I was a young adult I played in cover bands. I have a various and broad music taste, from Mozart to Hard Rock. My only stipulation is that the quality of the instrumental music and lyrics are good.

Inspiration

I am a huge fan of Prince and David Bowie (and British contemporaries from the seventies and later). But above all Jeff Buckley with the album Grace. “Lover, you should’ve come over” from Jeff Buckley is so beautiful. His wonderful voice but also his fabulous melancholic lyrics. The story and the sphere of loneliness he creates musically in this song is in perfect harmony with his lyrics. This is something you cannot learn. Lana Del Rey and the album “Ultraviolence” is also one of my favorites. Other inspirations are Melissa Etheridge, Norah Jones, Ozark Henry, Portland, Selah Sue, Alanis Morissette, Mozart (yes, Amadeus), Oasis, Kenny Rogers, REM, George Michael, and many many others.

Short Biography

Mostly, I was always a very happy only child, always laughing and singing. My parents divorced at a given point in time and both my mother and father remarried. As a youngster every evening I followed classes of art, music and ballet. Since very little I was always fascinated by (social) science. So I went to university and studied law and criminology. And also later I went to art classes, studying photography and until now still follow music art classes. 

Bucket list

There are a lot of things on the bucket list. Working with other musicians in Belgium but also with musicians abroad. And above all I want to create good songs. I do hope that fans will appreciate them. Also, I want to unite with my songs, since I am very concerned about all the things that are going wrong in this world. Polarization, war, human rights...
